For further information, please visit: www.rws.com About the Role: A Project Manager is a key member of a project team working on LifeSciences projects. The successful candidate may serve as a project lead, overlooking the successful completion of complex projects by working closely with internal teams as well as clients. Tasks may include but are not limited to client data management, project analysis and set up, scheduling, quote preparation, project file organization, placing tasks with linguists, and supporting linguists and technical teams with queries and trainings. A Project Manager supports special initiatives such as the review, development, and implementation of new processes. Responsibilities Manage the larger and more complex projects for large Life Science clients Results focused, taking care of: successful running of projects; client account growth; profitability of projects; client satisfaction, numbers and levels of quality issues; advancing technology solutions; and development of direct reports Communicate well with client contacts, local offices, freelancers and internal project team members Maintain processes and methodology to ensure project success and value added service to clients Ensure accurate compilation and approval of estimates and proposals for existing clients and potential new customers by complying to the sales process Plan projects through risk assessment planning, best process identification, implementation of best methodology and communication to project teams Closely monitor projects by the comprehensive and effective use of standardized server project folder structure and thorough filling of project assets and documentation, budgets, change orders, resource request forms, handover documents, status sheets, timely invoicing and payment tracking Produce project schedules and thereafter using internal tracking sheet to monitor activity and production Resolve client and project issues Assisting in conference calls with existing clients and potential new clients Requirements Comprehensive demonstrable experience e.g. 3 years in similar project management role with experience in localization industry Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Solid organizational skills including meticulous attention to detail and multitasking skills Analytical and organized problem solving abilities Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure Experience with CAT tools (Trados Studio) and Translation Management Systems Bachelor’s degree Preferred: Experience with Life Sciences projects Life at RWS – We work hard together to deliver for our customers; our expertise, professionalism and determination to never let others down drives us to be passionate and serious about what we do, deliver customer value, yet always adding a human touch As a company focused on connecting people through language, diversity and inclusion are fundamental to our company culture.
