Overview

As Czech Financial Translator you will support IBKR by translating finance-focused content and client interfaces. You will work in a fast-paced environment, balancing independent work with team collaboration to meet tight deadlines. You’ll manage terminology, maintain glossaries, and ensure high-quality translations, including occasional legal/regulatory texts. This role combines linguistic precision with domain knowledge to enable clear, compliant client communications and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translate IBKR’s account application and client account interface
• Occasional legal/regulatory translations
• Glossary and TM maintenance
• Quality assurance on existing translations (proofread and edit)
• Document processing

Key requirements

• Native Czech speaker
• Proficient in English
• MA or BA degree in Translation or related discipline
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• CAT tool daily operation experience
• Experience with AI technology in an auxiliary translation function is a strong advantage
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience with a financial institution or finance-related content
• Knowledge of basic trading terms; familiarity with technical and marketing translation
• Proven time-management and organisational skills
• Self-confident, open, flexible, and able to work independently in a team environment
