Japanese Translator Full Time on the ground

We are hiring a Japanese Translator (JLPT N2 Certified) for a leading Shipping MNC based in Mumbai. This role involves acting as a key communication bridge between clients and internal teams, supporting onboarding, and ensuring smooth coordination across functions in a dynamic global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a communication bridge between Marketing, Clients, and Operations teams to ensure seamless coordination
• Support client onboarding and track progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding needs and addressing concerns
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver high-quality service and improve client experience
• Assist in operational and documentation processes related to shipping activities
• Support business initiatives and collaborate with leadership on new projects and client engagements

Looking For

• 1+ years of experience in translation, client coordination, or operations support roles
• JLPT N2 certification (mandatory) with strong Japanese and English communication skills
• Background or exposure to shipping, maritime, or logistics industry preferred
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
