This postion For the the School. The Sign Language Interpreter works 177 days per year for 7 hours per day and earns $30.20 – $57.44 per hour , depending on experience. A Sign Language Interpreter in a K-12 school setting facilitates communication between deaf and hard-of-hearing students and others by interpreting and transliterating spoken material in both general and special education environments.
