About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Translational and Computational Pathology to serve as the Clinical Laboratory Director and lead strategic, scientific, and operational initiatives in pathology, biomarker, and companion diagnostic programs. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of precision medicine, working with a team of experts in oncology, translational science, artificial intelligence, and diagnostics. Key responsibilities include overseeing laboratory operations, assay development, digital pathology programs, and translational research efforts, with a focus on advancing innovative oncology diagnostics. The role also involves providing leadership for digital and computational pathology programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to scientific publications and thought leadership activities.
Applicants must have an MD or DO degree, be board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and be eligible to serve as a Clinical Laboratory Director under CLIA regulations. A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in relevant environments, as well as a background in translational medicine, companion diagnostics, and biomarker development, is required. Preferred experience includes translational oncology, immunohistochemistry assay development, digital pathology, and AI-enabled diagnostic technologies.
