About the Team:
Varahe Analytics is seeking highly skilled Hindi translators to support our projects on a short-term contractual basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of both English and Hindi, with a passion for delivering accurate and impactful communication.
What Would This Role Entail?
– Translate and proofread content between English and Hindi.
– Ensure accuracy and contextual correctness of translations.
– Work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
– Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive documents.
– Translate and summarize parliamentary proceedings and research papers.
Necessary Qualifications/Skills:
– 1-2 years of experience in translation or content writing.
– Bachelor’s degree in English, Hindi Literature, or related field (preferred).
– Fast typing skills in both English and Hindi.
– Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office.
– Basic understanding of Indian politics and governance.
– Goal-driven and deadline-oriented mindset.
Good to Have Skills:
– Basic understanding of politics and the nature of India’s democracy.
– Experience in translating policy briefs.
– Familiarity with government terminology.
