Insight Global are seeking a highly experienced Translational Sciences Director with deep expertise in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases to support an early‑stage human observational study for a leading global pharmaceutical organisation.
This position requires 2 days onsite per week (or 8 days per month) in Stevenage, UK for a min. 6 month contract and is Inside IR35.
The Translational Sciences Director will shape and drive the translational science and biomarker strategy for an exploratory Phase 0 human observational study. This is a clinical-facing strategy role focused on biomarker deployment, governance, and interpretation of human data (not hands-on wet-lab execution).
You will lead the definition of biomarker strategy—target engagement, mechanistic biomarkers, and exploratory signals—and define how these will be operationalised in humans (endpoints, sampling approach, data review cadence, and governance). You will interpret human biomarker data and translate findings into clear recommendations and decision points for clinical and research stakeholders.
