Job Description

We are seeking a professional subtitler to translate from English into Basque for film, television, streaming, and gaming titles.

Qualifications

• Native fluency in Basque and extensive knowledge of English.
• University degree or equivalent experience in translation.
• Experience in localization QC, audiovisual translation, or subtitling.
• Deep understanding of subtitling nuances, cultural differences, and best practices for subtitle and dub audio creation.
• Knowledge of closed captioning, subtitling standards, and common technical challenges.
• Proficiency with subtitle editing software and web/cloud technology.
• Ability to adapt quickly to workflow changes, strong attention to detail, organization, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills.
• Must sign an NDA before starting the recruitment process.
