They have a fun working environment and genuinely value their employees offering great staff incentives.The Job:This role requires a Content Editor, fluent in French Canadian to join their in-house content team. You will translate and proofread various elements of content support for our client’s knowledge base as well as write articles, input to step-by-step diagnostic content as well as ‘how to’ guides as required.The role requires the Editor to have an excellent command of English as well as French Canadian. The ability to answer a complex question in a simple and easy-to-understand manner is key, as is a good understanding of editing tools and software (training will be provided).Excellent attention to detail is required as the Content Editor will need to ensure the accuracy of translations in addition to maintaining consistency through adherence to tonality and formality. Working closely with other teams you will support in testing and maintaining the overall user experience of the content.Day to day responsibilities:Translate and proofread new and existing contentTest and proofread content in various formats (scripts, text in imagery etc) prior to go liveSupport the creation of new content in accordance with:New product releasesClient requests and feedbackOperating System & platform updatesCall drivers & other insight sourcesAs well as Review existing articles, scripts and content on a regular basis, support new client launches – ensuring the accuracy and consistency of translations across the required formats and work with the User Experience (UX) team to ensure quality is maintained across content types and language variantsThe Person:Proficient spoken and written French Canadian with a good grasp of spelling and grammar in this language.Clear writing style expressed in English and French CanadianAbility to explain complex processes clearly and without ambiguityContent proofreading experienceExcellent grasp of spelling, grammar and attention to detailGood organisational and time management skillsConfident pro-active approach
