Language Translator Full Time on the ground

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate written content accurately between English and Spanish / Russian / Mandarin-Chinese (any one), ensuring clarity, consistency, and contextual relevance.
• Localize content for regional and cultural nuances while maintaining the original intent, terminology, and tone.
• Translate a wide range of materials including business documents, marketing content, technical manuals, training materials, legal or policy documents, and digital content.
• Review, proofread, and edit translated content to ensure linguistic accuracy, grammatical correctness, and quality standards.
• Maintain glossaries, translation memories, and standardized terminology for consistency across projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to understand context and technical terminology.
• Ensure confidentiality and data security while handling sensitive documents and information.
• Meet project deadlines while managing multiple translation assignments simultaneously.
• Support back-translation and quality assurance processes when required.

Candidate Profile:

• Fluency in Spanish / Russian / Mandarin-Chinese (any one), with strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Prior experience as a professional translator or language specialist with localization, subtitling, or multilingual digital content.
• Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and linguistic structures across source and target languages.
• Ability to adapt content for different regions and cultural contexts.
• High attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with translation tools and platforms (CAT tools, terminology management systems) is preferred.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
