Position Title & Location: Analytics Translator, UK/US/Spain/Europe, LATAM, South Africa (3 positions)

Position Purpose

Analytics Translators combine deep business knowledge and a strong understanding of what can be achieved with Advanced Analytics to play a crucial role in understanding requirements, ensuring insights are interpretable and actionable, and that the products we build are adoptable, scalable, and deliver value.

This role is key to the future of Brambles as we develop a truly Data-Driven Culture.

A key part of this role is to help develop a data-driven organization in terms of structure, systems, style, people resources, skills, shared values, and strategy execution. This will mean working in an agile mindset, within an agile structure.

Starting to extend to medium-term goals and team performance; responsible for meeting periodic targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with technical and operational stakeholders to understand problems, identify requirements, and define the path to value.
• Develop a deep understanding of technical solutions being developed, synthesize complex analytics-derived insights into easy-to-understand, actionable recommendations that business users can easily extract and execute on.
• Work with Product Owner(s) to shape the end-to-end product strategy and determine business value.
• Own and prepare interactions with non-technical stakeholders.
• Exercise decision-making mandate across the team as a proxy to the product owner.
• Work on a project with autonomy and be responsible for decision-making.
• Support project scoping and execution.
• Stay in sync with the product owners on priorities and day-to-day decision-making.
• Understand the risks and business implications of design choices and their effects on other project stakeholders, raising concerns when needed.
• Understand different processes related to implementation and identify the required personnel within the organization.
• Ensure blockers are identified and removed or escalated.
• Define, implement, and track performance metrics once solutions are in production.
• Support team demos and ensure blockers are addressed.

Measures

• Impact metrics measuring the value provided under different objectives.
• Scalability of solutions across users, functions, and geographies.
• Agility in delivering MVPs and iterative approaches.

Qualifications

• BA or BS preferred or industry experience.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Technical degrees in computer science, software engineering, or mathematics are an advantage.
• Proven experience within CHEP and Brambles.
• Ability to facilitate, lead, and coordinate complex activities with minimal direction.
• Experience communicating complex technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders and senior management.
• Experience in presenting technical solutions simply and clearly.
• Experience implementing solutions and driving adoption among business users.
• 1-3 years’ experience in digital/technical roles, bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of project management practices such as Agile, Scrum, or Design Thinking.
