**Job Title: Translator (Localization)**

– **Responsibilities**:_
– Translate and localize content, including software interfaces, websites, marketing materials, user documentation, and multimedia assets, to ensure accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and linguistic consistency.
– Adapt content to target markets by considering regional language variations, cultural nuances, and local preferences.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketers, and project managers, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality translations on schedule.
– Use translation management tools, glossaries, and style guides to maintain consistency and adhere to established localization standards.
– Conduct linguistic quality assurance (QA) checks to review translated content for accuracy, readability, and adherence to brand guidelines.
– Provide feedback and suggestions for improving localization processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
– Stay updated on industry trends, language developments, and localization best practices to continuously improve translation quality and optimize localization strategies.
– **Requirements**:_
– Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, or related field.
– Proven experience as a Translator with specialization in localization, preferably in a software, technology, or digital content context.
– Proficiency in at least two languages, including fluency in the source language and native or near-native proficiency in the target language(s).
– Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences, customs, and preferences.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas accurately and effectively in multiple languages.
– Familiarity with translation and localization tools, such as CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools, translation memory systems, and terminology management software.
– Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality translations within established deadlines.
– Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Knowledge of localization standards and best practices, as well as experience with internationalization (i18n) and globalization (g11n) concepts, is a plus.
