About you:
You will need to show proactivity and experience in carefully reviewing our prospective translator applicants and the ability to effectively source specific translators for localisation.
Also, you will need to be a good communicator, as the position will cover all forms of recruitment correspondence such as social media (for example, LinkedIn) and translator-membership websites (for example, Proz.com). Other requirements would be empathy and understanding when negotiating with translators and a clear attention to detail, especially when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential material, an ability to keep calm under pressure is important, as is showing the ability to multi-task, especially during time-sensitive projects.
Role Description.
– Successfully recruit new linguists on negotiated rates for all languages.
– Implement all administrative and testing procedures for recruitment of translators.
– Expand and update our bespoke Linguist database, keeping all supplier information such as availability and language combinations up to date and accurate.
– Create and nurture good working relationships with our translation team to encourage engagement and retention of their services.
– Maintain quality standards of translation, logging feedback from our clients and providing support to our Project Management team.
– Assist our Operations colleagues by informing them of additional new language options and initiatives, especially during time critical projects.
– Provide initiatives on enhancing our current translation management software and attend meetings with our technical support partners.
– Collaborating with Client Accounts and General Management on business direction initiatives.
– This role is remote-based.
