Valentina M, English – Spanish translator and interpreter

My name is Valentina Méndez, and I am a native English, interpreter, translator and teacher with more than ten years experience across a number of disciplines. I lived in Uruguay for many years and am 100% and work with Spanish and English indistinctly.

As a translator and interpreter my main areas of expertise are Medical, Pharmaceuticals, Business, Commerce, Finance and Literature.

As an interpreter I have interpreted several times for a former president of Uruguay Mr’José Mujica and The General Secretary of the UN, Ban Ki-Moon, conferences for several international organizations, Nobel Prize winners, Professors from Northwestern University, University of Oxford, London School of Economics, conferences for doctors from Rutgers University, several corporations and private multi-million dollar negotiations.

As a translator I’ve translated books, award winning film scripts, contracts, essays for Wharton University, adult comic books, medical pamphlets, web sites for the pharmaceutical industry with their products, and reports for international organizations among others.
