My name is Renata Almeida I am an English to Portuguese (Brazilian) translator, subtitler, and proofreader.
Experience:
– I have transcripted, translated and subtitled corporate videos for companies (especially from Portuguese to English), and I have worked as a volunteer by translating subtitles (from English to Portuguese) of some TED talks about general topics;– I have translated two books. Unfortunately, one of them was not published but the second you can check on Amazon (encurtador.com.br/amJ47);– I have also translated some curricula, texts of varied topics (medical, environmental, news, etc). I have participated in a Social Forum translating some documents for it, as a guide with instructions to participants.– In the academic area some people have already asked me to translate their abstracts to English and even articles too (humanities, business, environment);
