I am Jade Colanges, an English to French translator specializing in fiction, I have a passion for video games and fantasy literature and experience in translation of in-game content (dialogues, menus, quests, etc.) as well as blog posts for release announcements. With my Master’s degree in Translation from the University of Angers, I have a strong grasp of linguistic nuances and am proficient in computer-assisted translation tools, primarily MemoQ.

My academic background, including a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Rouen with an exchange year in Toronto, helped me develop an excellent knowledge of the English language and a keen understanding of Anglo-Saxon culture.

Alongside my translation career, I am the self-published author of a French fantasy book series, “Les Secrets de May’zur”. This has given me a deeper understanding of the publishing industry and allowed me to collaborate with various service providers (illustrator, proofreaders).

I am looking for new professional opportunities. I am particularly interested in projects that allow me to leverage my skills in book or video game translation.
