My name is Arsène Joël Kuate, a full-time professional freelance translator.  I offer several language services and I am always in search of new challenges. I basically do translation, proofreading, editing, transcription and copywriting. My working languages are Spanish > French and English > French. Also, I have been teaching French and Spanish for some years now; so I master the arcanum of those languages so as to be able to work with them.

I hold an M.A. in Translation (English-French-Spanish), from the Advanced School of Translator and Interpreters of Buea, an M.A. in Spanish Studies and a B.A. in Trilingual Letters (French-English-Spanish) with specialisation in Spanish.

I have been translating for almost five years now and I have successfully handled translations in several domains such as automotive, catering, tourism and housing, devices consumption, e-marketing, etc. My translation principle is to deliver communicative texts which sound natural and with no room for translation smell. I love well-written texts and always endeavour to produce good translations in French. I have also translated for Airbnb, Ashoka and currently, I am working on a huge Amazon project with Jonckers.

As a professional freelance Translator, I am ICTs literate and I have a good mastery of CAT tools and translation fora such as Proz.com, Translators Café and many others. I have a profile on Proz.com and on Translators Café. I master Trados (2014 and 2015), MemoQ and Wordfast Pro.
